Self-Learn or Live? Deciding Before Saturday’s Gate

The two cover the same four stages and the same rubrics. What differs is teaching, marking, the certificate, and whether anyone notices when you stop.

We sell two ways through the same four stages, and we would rather you chose the right one than the expensive one.

What is the same

The Self-Learn Pack and Foundation Training cover the same four stages, use the same rubrics and aim at the same four finished deliverables.

What is different

  • Teaching. Live classes explain, answer and correct in the moment. The pack is written to be worked alone.
  • Marking. In the cohort, a person marks your work against the rubric and tells you what to change. With the pack, you mark yourself.
  • The certificate. It comes with the cohort, not the pack.
  • Pace. The cohort keeps you moving with other people. The pack moves only when you do.

An honest test

Think of the last course you bought and worked through alone. If you finished it, the pack will probably serve you well, and it is ready tonight. If you did not, the problem was never the content, and a live cohort is the fix.

Cohort 12 enrolment closes on Saturday 31 October at 8:00 PM WAT. The full side-by-side is on one page, written by us, with the reasons not to buy either.
