Four Days Left on Cohort 12: What to Have Ready Before Day One
Enrolment closes on Saturday 31 October at 8:00 PM WAT. If you are joining, these are the four things that make the first week count, none of which costs anything.
Cohort 12 of Foundation Training closes on Saturday 31 October at 8:00 PM WAT and begins on Monday 2 November. If you have decided to join, the most useful thing you can do this week is not more research. It is preparation.
Four things make the first week count.
1. Your current CV, exactly as it is
Do not polish it first. The training works on the CV you actually send, because that is the one employers have been reading. Save it as it stands, and run it through the free CV Scan so you have a score to compare against at the end.
2. One target role, written in a sentence
“Customer success for software companies” is a target. “Anything remote” is not. You can change it later; you cannot build assets for a blank.
3. Your class time, blocked in the calendar
Choose the class time that fits your week and block it now, for all twenty training days. Most people who fall behind did not lack ability. They lost the hour to something else on day three.
4. A quiet place and a working connection
Check your data plan and your backup for power. A session missed for a dead battery is a session you have to catch up on alone.
If you are still deciding
Decide on evidence, not on the countdown. If you are not sure which part of your search is breaking, the free diagnosis takes about ninety seconds and will tell you honestly if training is not your next step.
